Tuk Tuk Tours
Explore Bangkok by the iconic tuk tuk
Discover the famous and the not-so famous
Normally we recommend this tour in the morning but it can also run in afternoon. Either way, we provide a range of additional add-ons so you can customize it to make it a perfect and full day.
The afternoon options include:
1) Tour of the Grand Palace and Temple of The Reclining Buddha: This option will last approx 1.5 hours (additional 1,100THB per person inc entrance fee and guide).
2) Explore Bangkok’s canals by long-tail boat: This option will last approx 1-1.5 hours (additional 2,000THB per booking).
3) Snacks & Markets Tour around Chinatown: This option will last approx 3 hours (additional 1,000THB per person).
These add-ons are subject to availability. It is possible to combine options 1, 2, and 3 if you want to create the ultimate (and intense) Bangkok Experience. If you combine multiple then the order may vary.
The concept:
This tour is designed to give the perfect introduction to Bangkok, both from the perspective of the main sights but also getting a little bit offbeat. A good blend between the main temples and local life. We combine 2 temples, with a traditional market, several forms of local transport, and a lot of interesting snacks. Along the way we will pass many of the most famous sights.
The Plan:
The tour starts with your guide picking you up from your hotel or a convenient meeting point. The focus of this tour is using local transport so we adapt the start and pick up method based on your pick up location.
After meeting your guide, you will head towards the Rattanakosin area using the most suitable method. Once you switch to tuk tuk for a few hours. The first main stop is Nang Leong Market, where you will pick up a range of snacks. Next we drive around Rattanakosin, passing many of Bangkok's most famous sites. The tuk tuk will cross to the other side of the river and take you to Wat Arun (The Temple of Dawn), where your guide will show you around. Next we move back to boats as we take the local ferry back across the river for our final stop at Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha)
The orders of the stops may change based on what makes most sense on the day.
At the end of the tour the guide will help you get to where you need to get to, or if you have booked an afternoon add-on will ensure you join that,
