Tuk Tuk Tours
Explore Bangkok by the iconic tuk tuk
Valentine’s Day is approaching, and while COVID-19 is causing uncertainty in 2021, there is no better cure than love! Therefore, we have no doubt that Valentine’s Day in Bangkok will still be full of romance this year.
Expect cards, roses and gifts to pop up at department stores and shopping centres around the city – and if you’re looking for somewhere to spend the occasion with a loved one, then check out our suggestions below.
The city is packed with restaurants that make the perfect place to impress a date or show your significant other how much you still care. From exclusive 5-star hotels to small, romantic restaurants tucked into hidden corners of Bangkok.
Sitting by the river opposite your loved one seems to create a romantic picture wherever you may be. Bangkok is no exception and there are tons of riverside restaurants to enjoy a romantic dinner.
The first riverside restaurants that come to mind are usually the ones overlooking The Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun). These include Sala Rattanakosin and The Deck. We love Steve Café & Cuisine, a 30-second walk from Thewet river pier or even a very brief shuttle boat hop for a more exclusive arrival, where the menu of hard-to-find traditional Thai dishes is complemented perfectly by the sunset views of the golden Rama 8 bridge. Almost next door is the appropriately named restaurant “In Love” although the food and atmosphere can be hit and miss.
Or perhaps spend an evening on the river on a dinner cruise. We would suggest avoiding one of the big boats (unless you intentionally want to go cheap and cheesy) and choose a more intimate options. One good option would be Romance on The River by Manohra Cruise.
You can also take a high step to enjoy the Bangkok view on a rooftop. Feel the breeze of the wind while you are enjoying quality cocktails. You have plenty of choices for rooftops bar and restaurant. But we recommend you book in advance your table; you won’t be the only one to have this idea.
Here are some places to consider.
We recommend the following sites for finding the best Valentine’s dinner deals in Bangkok.

We have already mention the options to take a dinner cruise and watch over Bangkok from a Rooftop bar.
Of course, if you just want to cuddle up to your partner while whizzing around Bangkok in a tuk tuk, then our Bangkok Night Lights Tuk Tuk Tour (Private version) is also an option. Experience Bangkok under the moonlight, visit temples and markets and enjoy typical Thai food, and with a stop in the Flower Market, there is no excuse for not picking up that perfect bunch of roses.
Or simple arrange for us to pick up your Valentines in a tuk tuk decorated with roses!
Nothing’s better than a relaxing moment before valentine’s dinner. Why don’t you take a spa with Thai massage together before a romantic night? We recommend the oasis spa where you have different packages and different kinds of massage to rest after a day of exploring.

There are flower shops all over Bangkok and they are share a common theme over Valentines – the price goes up. As always the cheapest place to get flowers is Pak Khlong Talad Flower Market and although the price doubles for Valentine’s Day, you can still get a nice bunch of red roses for 600-800THB.
