It’s becoming easier than ever to discover the culture and heritage of Rattanakosin island, Bangkok’s old town, thanks to a new weekend programme put on by the King Prajadhipok Museum. Jump on a free shuttle bus that runs on Saturdays and Sundays, every 20 minutes between 10am and 6pm, from now through until September. The bus starts its route at the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration offices and makes stops at museums including the King Prajadhipok Museum, the Rattanakosin Exhibition Hall and the Ratchadamnoen Contemporary Art Center, all three of which offer free entry. You can wander at your own pace and then board the next bus. www.facebook.com/kingprajadhipokmuseum
