Loha Prasat is sometimes known as The Metal Castle based on it's unique design. Actually it is designed for meditation and we will explore it with this in mind.
Get Tempted by Tasty Snacks
If temples sounds boring, well at least we have lots of edible treats. There are some very famous vendors around Rattanakosin and we will pick up a selection of sweet and savoury snacks as we explore.
We will meet you at Tha Maharaj Pier and Community Mall. Here we will introduce the tour and prepare for exploring Bangkok.
Before meeting our tuk tuks we will go for a short walk through the Amulet Market and discover the mystical and magical powers of amulets.
Then it is time to meet our tuk tuk drivers who will take you around Rattanakosin. The first stop is Santi Chai Prakan where we will introduce the history of Bangkok and do a fun activity.
Next to Loha Prasat, which is also known as "The Metal Castle". This is an interesting places where each floor is designed for a different type of meditation. We will do our own little meditation exercise.
The final stop is Wat Saket, which is also known as The Golden Mount. This is one of the most fun temples in Bangkok to explore as you need to climb to the top. When you get to the top you will be treated to a great view of Bangkok! We will give you some challenges on the way to the top.
Along the route we will be picking up snacks from some of Rattanakosin's best vendors. These do vary from tour to tour but could include. Sweet Roti, bread with custard, ice cream, Khanom Buang.....
At the end of the tour we will drop you at Sanam Chai MRT or Tha Maharaj. Our team will help you get home.
